The first
step being taken was to conduct a Community Survey to give
everybody an opportunity to provide an input to the Plan.
The survey sought input from everybody - from the young to
the elderly. The Community Survey was distributed in
October to every household in the parish.
Results and Analysis
of Parish Plan Surveys
40 percent of households
returned completed questionnaires, providing a sound
basis for the preparation of a Parish Plan for Warnham.
The key finding is that 98%
of respondents find Warnham a pleasant place in which to
live. The surveys have identified a range of
improvements, additional facilities and development
preferences which will be considered the preparation of
the Parish Plan.
The Parish Plan Steering
Group propose to draft the plan based on the results of
the surveys by Spring 2006.
